TÜRKİYE YÜZYILI MAARİF MODELİ SONRASI MEB YAYINLARI 5. SINIF TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDAKİ METİN VE GÖRSELLERİN TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET ROLLERİ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

This research aims to examine the 5th grade Turkish textbooks of MEB Publications after the "Türkiye Century Education Model" in terms of gender roles. This study, conducted using document analysis, a qualitative research method, used criterion sampling as the sampling method. The 5th grade Turkish textbooks were examined in the study. The descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. It was determined that there was a great deal of similarity in terms of gender in the child character in terms of the variables examined. It was concluded that there were significant differences in terms of objects and professions associated with gender in adult characters. It was determined that male characters were reflected in more numbers and in various professions than female characters in the texts and visuals in the textbooks in terms of professions.
