TÜRKÇE EĞİTİMİNDE ÖYKÜ: METİNDİLBİLİMSEL AÇIDAN MİSLİ BAYDOĞAN’IN “SÜLBİYE TEYZE” ADLI ÖYKÜSÜ

Özet

Text linguistics has criteria for textuality such as coherence, cohesion, purpose, contextuality, acceptability, informativeness, and intertextuality. Through metadiscourse analyses, characteristics that help understand and interpret texts can be determined. Students who can perceive the text are observed to enjoy reading and have an increased desire to read. In this qualitative study, text analysis is limited to micro (coherence) and macro (cohesion) structures. Criteria of coherence based on Halliday-Hassan (1976) and Beaugrande-Dressler (1981) and criteria of cohesion based on Beaugrande-Dressler (1981) and Aydın-Torusdağ (2014) models were used. The text is examined under lexical coherence consisting of repetition, syntactic patterns, reference, ellipsis, relations, time, aspect, and implicit narrative. The macro structure is discussed in terms of function, title, topic, keywords, main idea sentence, content schema, style, summary, conclusion sentence. It is noted that the analyzed story is a successfully structured text that can be used in Turkish teaching.
