Abstract


THE EXPERIENCES OF STUDIES SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELORS WITH STUDENTS WITH PROBLEMATIC INTERNET USE BEHAVIORS
The aim of the present study is to determine the opinions of school counselors about the services they provide for students with problematic internet use behavior. The research was designed in the phenomenological research design, and 20 participants selected by criterion sampling method in the research. The data has been reported by the qualitative analysis method. According to the results obtained, it has been determined that the most used approach by psychological counselors is the solution-oriented approach. School psychological counselors prefer this approach because it is economical in terms of time. In addition, it was determined that psychological counselors had difficulties in cooperating with students and families. For this reason, it is thought that the family should be included in the process in a healthy way. In addition, it has been determined that most of the services provided by school psychological counselors consist of general information and awareness-based studies based on seminars and primary preventive services.
