    TR DIZIN 2020 Etik Kriterleri  kapsamında, dergimize 2020 yılında gönderilen ve gönderilecek olan yayınlar için Etik Kurul Belgesi zorunlu olacaktır. Abstract


TEACHER OPINIONS ON ONLINE EDUCATION IN THE COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) PANDEMIC
In this study, it is aimed to determine the views of science teachers about online education given during the epidemic. Based on this purpose, the study group consisted of a total of 40 science teachers working in public schools. In the determination of the study group, volunteer science teachers who actively took part in the distance education process were selected by applying the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods. Online semi-structured interviews were conducted with the science teachers who participated in the research. The interview data were evaluated using the content analysis technique. According to the findings, it has been determined that the teachers are faced with problems such as the participation of the students in the course is very low, the students do not care much about distance education, there are problems in communication, there are technical problems, and internet access cannot be provided. In addition, suggestions were received from the teachers in terms of improving this process. As a result of the study, considering the opinions of the teachers, it was determined that the suggestions such as raising the awareness of the parents, establishing a strong teacher-parent cooperation, providing unlimited internet access to the students, checking the absenteeism of the students participating in the course, and grading at the end of the semester came to the fore.
