Abstract
THE DICTIONARY OF KİTĀBU BULĠATU’L-MUŞTĀḲ FÌ LUĠATİ’T-TÜRK WE’L-KIFÇĀḲ’S CONTENT AND FOREIGN WORDS IN IT
The dictionary of Kitābu Bulġatu'l-Muştāḳ fì Luġati't-Türk we'l-Kıfçāk which written in order to teach Turkish to Arabs, gained a great importance among the dictionaries and grammar books of the Mamluk-Kipchak period. This study aims to introduce this dictionary and to give information about the foreign words in it. The study consists of two parts: 1.Kitābu Bulġatu'l-Muştāḳ fì Luġati't-Türk we'l-Kıfçāḳ's content 2. The foreign words in Kitābu Bulġatu'l-Muştāḳ fì Luġati't-Türk we'l-Kıfçāḳ. In the first part an information about the dictionary will be given and the method used in the work will be emphasized. As to the second part, examples will be given to foreign words in this dictionary.
