Abstract
GRAMMATICAL NEGATIVE POLARITY ITEMS
Negation is a semantic category which is created by the way of coding not realizing to the verb and coding absence to the noun and is distinguished by its grammatical dimension frequently. Negative polarity items which indicate negation direct or indirect are quite a lot on the basis of both word and phrase. {-mA} which is the first negative polarity item come to mind is a suffix special to verb. {-sIz} which is identified as an item of lexical negation do not load negativity mean to the sentence in spite of creating language units that signify absence by its feature of function alteraiton. But if noun-origin units which include {-sIz} in their structures become verbs they make negative sentences. The lexical markers can also code negation besides morphemic markers. Deep structure is not ignored in negation at discoursive level; negation is not approached on the basis of only suffixes and words; metaphors, disregardings, implications, foregroundings are play a role in as prompt.
