The study deals with the role of folksonomy in the formation processes of internet folklore within the framework of folklore. For this purpose, at first, folksonomy and its related technical components were briefly introduced, then it was tried to explain how the folk culture elements suitable for evaluation within the framework of folklore gain folkloric values based on common acceptance with folksonomy practices. In the research; In the internet space, some content labeled with the folksonomic model (people’s classification management) has been examined and these research objects have been subjected to a comparison over the produced folklore model. In the study, the relationship between folksonomy and internet folklore; The position of folksonomy in the production processes of folklore objects is explained and the findings are shared. As a result of the research; It has been determined that folksonomy has an important effect on the formation of internet folklore.
