There are many methods used in the analysis of literary works, such as ontological, psychoanalytic, structural, text linguistic and semantic. With these methods, literary works are examined and evaluated from various perspectives. In this study, Asaf Hâlet Çelebi's poem "İbrahim" will be examined with the ontological analysis method, which is one of the poetry analysis methods, and the perspectives offered by this method will be used to reveal the direct and indirect meanings, symbols and messages in the content of the poem in question. In this way, all layers in the poem will be discussed and the world of meaning of the poem will be comprehended. For this purpose, the document review technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the article. The study is limited to the poem "Ibrahim" in the poet's work titled Om Mani Padme Hum.

In order to better understand the subject, information will be given first about the ontological method and then about Asaf Hâlet Çelebi's life and literary personality. Then, the poem called “İbrahim” will be analyzed. In this study, the ontological analysis method that examines a literary work in terms of its layers of existence will be used.
