TÜRKÇE YETERLİK SINAVI’NIN (TYS) ULUSLARARASI GEÇERLİĞE SAHİP BAZI DİL YETERLİK SINAVLARIYLA AKREDİTASYON KURULUŞLARINA ÜYELİK, GEÇERLİK SÜRESİ VE GEÇERLİK DURUMU AÇISINDAN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Özet

The aim of this study is to compare Turkish Proficiency Exam (TPE) with the internationally applied language proficiency tests and to determine the quality of TPE. The data in the research were examined with content analysis technique. The data source of the study is created by TYS and language proficiency exams which are conducted in the international field and the results of the exams in the Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) equivalence table. These exams are: TPE for Turkish; CPE, CAE, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic for English; TestDaF, DSD II, telc Deustch, Goethe-Zertifikat for German; DELE&DALF for French; DELE for Spanish, CELI for Italian and TORFL for Russian. In the findings on the results of examinations related to the membership in international accreditation associations, their validity period and their differences in international validity, The number of accreditation associations in which TPE is a member in less than most exams in terms of “International Accreditation Associations Which Exams Are Members.” It is determined that the full membership which most exams has not been found in TPE yet in terms of “Membership Type”. The language proficiency certificate is indefinite in most exams validity periods of however it is limited duration in TPE (2 years). TPE and other exam have international validity in terms of “International Validty”.
