The “textbooks” are one of the reference works regarding the Old Turkic Language. The book Kokturkish and Old Uighur Courses (Köktürkçe ve Eski Uygurca Dersleri), written by Mehmet ÖLMEZ and published by Kesit publications, also falls in this category.
The textbook titled Kokturkish and Old Uighur Courses (Köktürkçe ve Eski Uygurca Dersleri) consists of two parts and a dictionary is attached to it.
This article provides information about the sources of the texts related to Orhun Inscriptions in the first chapter (Kokturkish Courses) of Kokturkish and Old Uighur Courses and it is emphasized that, even if not referenced, the texts belonging to the Orhun Inscriptions in the book are taken from (Present Situation of the Orhun Inscriptions) Orhun Yazıtlarının Bugünkü Durumu, prepared by Cengiz ALYILMAZ.
