TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETMENİ ADAYLARININ KONUŞMA STİLLERİ ÜZERİNE CİNSİYETE DAYALI SOSYOLENGÜİSTİK BİR BETİMLEME

Özet

The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of pre-service Turkish teachers about the style of opposite-sex speaking and to make a sociolinguistic analysis. In the study, the phenomenological pattern that one of the qualitative research patterns was used. The data were collected from the students who studying in Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Education the Department of Turkish Education by the convenience sampling technique. The data obtained by semi-structured interview form were analysed by content analysis. According to the content analysis results, the positive and negative opinions of the females and the positive and negative opinions of the males are shown on the separate tables. After a general description, the opinions were commented on from sociolinguistic point of view. According to the results of the study, the general results are as follows: The females and the males have negative opinions about each other’s speaking styles. The males want females to speak like a female; the females want males to speak like a male.
