YABANCI DİL OLARAK TÜRKÇE ÖĞRENENLERİN KONUŞMA ÖZ YETERLİKLERİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

Self-sufficiency as a concept refers to individuals’ beliefs about themselves as to perform expected performance or behavior or overcoming difficulties and being successful in a specific area. In foreign language learning, self-sufficiency of individuals related to learning the target language is a determining factor in terms of achieving the goals. The aim of the present study, is to determine the level of self-efficiency of individuals learning Turkish a s a foreign language, and examining it in terms of variables. The study is a quantitative research, and it is designed according to scanning model. The Scale of Speaking Self Sufficiency Learners Learning Turkish as a Foreign Language” and “Individual Information Form” developed by the researchers are used as a medium for collecting data. In order to analyze the data SPSS 21.0 program and techniques such as arithmetic average, percentage t-test, and ANOVA are used. The level of self-sufficiency of individuals learning Turkish as a foreign language are examined in terms of sex, level of Turkish, age, the period of learning Turkish, the institution in which Turkish is learnt and area of local countries. As a result of analysis, it was found out that there is a meaningful relation between the level of speaking self-sufficiency and the institution in which Turkish is learnt and area of local countries. It was also discovered that there aren’t any meaning relations in terms of other variables.
