“AHLAT ARKEOLOJİK KAZISI ÇİNİ ÖRNEKLERİ VE EL SANATLARI SERGİSİ” ÜZERİNE

Özet

Archeological excavations have been conducted for more than 50 years in Ahlat being one of the culture and art centers of Seljuks. In these excavations, a good deal of artworks which reflect the Seljuk period in different dimensions have been revealed. Lecturers and teachers of Bitlis Eren University have been working on pottery and ceramic works in their workshops for a while based on those excavated from Ahlat. This paper is related to the exhibition of artworks which were made in Bitlis Eren University and introduce Anatolian Seljuks and Ahlat in different aspects at Schönbrunn Palace (Schloß Schönbrunn) in Vienna, capital of Austria between 25-31 August 2014 and the activities conducted within this scope.
