Aleppo variant of Köroğlu that is one of the Anatolia area variants of Köroğlu epics, is a variant of the Köroğlu studies commonly encountered in so far. This variant, albeit namely, took place allocated to it in different classifications held since Boratav. However, despite the fact, we say that enough space was given to the text of this variant of study done so far is. We have reached a sound recording of the text of this story dating from 1960. This recording was made on the date mentioned, in Yeşilöz village of Aydin Sub-district of Amasia by council held by minstrels. This council voiced story is the story of Aleppo branch. We could give place partly to the text of the study in Aleppo branch. However the poems in the story were taken to our story as are. Also similarities and differences of the prosaic sections with other Köroğlu variants are another issue we discussed in our study. To the varianting parts that we seek in prosaic parts are also looked and similarities with other Köroğlu tells have been tried to show in our study. Our study focuses on a total of 46 quatrains. Free-form folk poems, bickerings and self-contained quatrains has seen created in story with the movement of these quatrains. A new work has been formed about Aleppo Branch of Koroğlu content with the study in us. It has been submitted at the disposal of Turkology.
