Özet
There are multifaceted and complicated difficulties of historical text reading which is an important subject interests Turcology and Turcologs closely. Due to the complex and multifaceted challenges, some reading problems are seen in reading studies on historical texts. The leading cause of reading problems is readings which are detached from the text and made without understanding. However; reading the text, understanding the text and evaluating the text are primarily critical scientific works. Because the work of reading historical text contribute us to evaluate accurately both our history and our present. For an interpretation to be made on this readings to be realistic and enlightening, primarily readings must be accurate. It is clear that in every respect science can not be done on wrongs.
In the article, it is emphasized on the problem of word division and word combination seen in text readings; is adduced from reading of Süheyl ü Nevbahar and corrections are made.
