Öğretmen Eğitiminde Topluma Hizmet Uygulamaları Deneyimsel Bir Öğrenme Yaklaşımı

Özet

In order to improve education faculties in 2006, a course named Community Service-Learning (CSL) was added in pre-service teaching education programs. This course was designed not only to establish connection among community service experiences and academic learning, personal development and citizenship but also connect experiences between students’ real and academic life. This course was also aimed to increase individual and social values in terms of social awareness and sensibility, collaboration, solidarity, effective communication, self esteem, social responsibility. From this point of view, Community Service-Learning can be wieved as an experiential approach to give teacher education. This study examines related literature and result Turkish studies.
